The BUDMA and BUMASZ shows held in Pozna里 on 22-25 January were visited by over 65,000 attendees. Such a huge turnout confirms that the market is much interested in offers for the construction industry.
More exhibitors, larger shows The total number of 1,598 exhibitors from 29 countries showcased their offers on the BUDMA and BUMASZ exhibition area of 47,433 m 2. The exposition was divided into such sectors as: Walls and Floors, Windows and Doors, Roofs, Stone in Construction, Wood in Construction, IT for Construction, Sports Construction Centre and INVESTFIELD.
New offers and the programme of events in focus There were 14 Gold Medal winners. The Acanthus Aureus awards were also presented for the best stands. Visitors were attracted not only by numerous new products (as many as 150 of them were exhibited), but also by an interesting programme of events dedicated both to experts from the sector and to individuals. Conferences held as part of the Civil Engineering Days, the Polish Construction Technology Platform and other conferences devoted to energy efficiency and urban planning were especially popular.
The trade show featured inspiring shows, such as BudShow 每 a special area with a model house. ※Action 每 Creation. Live Design§ was another interesting event showing how a ready-made architectural design is created. The trade fair programme included also a series of lectures entitled: ※Flat roofs and terraces§ where participants could gain information on how to avoid construction mistakes. Shows of dancing construction machines were yet another attraction for the audience.
More streamlined construction processes Representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure were present at BUDMA and BUMASZ 2008 since the shows were held under the auspices of the ministry. They presented proposals for changes in regulations regarding investments in the construction sector. First, the investment process will be streamlined and assumptions for changes in appropriate legal acts will be ready in June. At numerous meetings held at BUDMA, the ministry representatives confirmed their willingness to cooperate with employers in order to develop regulations for the market of construction products.
BUDMA 2009 每 inspired by nature In 2009, the construction show in Pozna里 will be held on 20-23 January under the theme: ※inspired by nature§.
