China Xiamen International Stone Fair is already in full swing, with an increasing focus on the export and import of stones in modern architecture and interior design, thereby confirming its significant influence in the world!

 

With over 1,000 exhibitors and 70,981 trade visitors, XIAMEN STONE FAIR 2008, the 8^th China Xiamen International Stone Fair, held in Xiamen, China, on March 6-9, 2008 impressed all with its high level of growing in the amount of the exhibit floor, exhibiting samples and overseas trade visitors. Xiamen Stone Fair 2008 attracted high attention with the new characteristics as follows:

 

Over 1,000 exhibitors representing the largest and finest selection of natural stone and stone machinery ever assembled under one roof of 75,000 m² in Xiamen, China. They came from China, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Iran, Brazil, India, Australia, Portugal, France, South Africa, Egypt, Israel, Sweden, Norway, Pakistan, Canada, Germany, Finland, Japan, South Korea, Palestine and Vietnam…Exhibitors from Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Russia and Thailand first showcased their best samples in this edition.   

 

One of the highlights of Xiamen Stone Fair 2008 was the new-participating national pavilions including Brazilian, Iranian and Indian Pavilions. Previous national pavilions including Turkish, Italian and Spanish Pavilions had further expanded their exhibit space to display their exclusive products.

 

XIAMEN STONE FAIR 2008 experienced substantial increases of attendees from past years: 70,981 manufacturers, quarry owners, contractors, architects, designers, builders, distributors, kitchen specialists and retailers from across the country and all over the world attended XIAMEN STONE FAIR 2008 – which is a 41.9% increase in attendance over 2007! Oversea attendees reached 11,782, represented 115 countries, with an increase of 47.3% over last edition. Attendees from European and North American exceeded who were from Japan and Korea up by 37.4%. Attendees from USA, Russia, Southeast-Asia and south America boomed in this edition, spotlighted a new concern from these Markets.

With all the achievement, we have even long way to go, to succeed. Xiamen Stone Fair 2009 will be held on March 6 - 9, 2009 in Xiamen, China, which is expected to have 1,200 exhibitors. The exhibit floor will expand to 90, 000 square meters. Newly-built exhibition center will be put into use in 2009 edition, with more sufficient exhibiting facilities and luxurious exhibition floor.
