Brand new look including layout and content

A space inside one of the most visited halls in the exhibition centre which aims to offer a new vision of natural stone, its interpretation and consequent potential uses, giving cues and ideas to the world of design and architecture following the wishes of industry players that currently point to hospitality and sharing.

The Natural Stone Vision is an open space, a cube, black on the outside and white on the inside, built to encourage an exchange of ideas, a dialogue between companies, influencers, International architects and designers, to encourage”open-mindedness”, to share tales of different experiences connected with the fascinating, age-old world of marble and natural stone in general.

Because this is what the stone market asks of the world of Architecture and Design: the possibility to use these products, which up to now have been used in traditional ways, to express new ideas and to find radically innovative working relationships using a common, contemporary language as well as technology.
The experience of thousands of years of processing marble and the desire to welcome new challenges and changes have enabled this project to materialise. It is due to take place over the four exhibition days with meetings with personalities connected to International architecture such as Aldo Cibic, Giulio Cappellini, Michele De Lucchi, Enzo Calabrese and Teresa Sapej.

A large, symbolic table will unite everyone, each with his/her own contribution, ideas and personal vision. At the end of the four days all these ideas will be brought together to formulate the Natural Stone Vision, a summary of all the projects, a global philosophy around stone products which are changing and guidelines for a future approach to the world of design.
This is definitely a case of work in progress which begins with the announcement of the Natural Stone Vision at the Milanese Design Week: Zona Tortona will in fact be hosting what will be the emblem of the project for this 2008, that is hospitality, meeting-you.

A large marble door in the Superstudio Più (a place with a long-standing tradition in International design) will meet the large number of architects, designers, “design-addicted” and international press to offer a taste of the great excitement in the run up to the new CarraraMarmotec.
