The China Stone & Laizhou Stone 2008 was held on September 9-11, 2008 in Laizhou Exhibition Certer, Laizhou, Shandong, China.

 

The show area exceeds 20,000 square meters, among which the interior show area reaches 12,000 square meters, the exterior with 8,000 square meters. It hosted 500 exhibitors from more than 18 countries. Domestic famous stone enterprises such as Shengda Machinery Co.,Ltd. and Universal Marble & Granite Group Ltd. (UMGG) participated this fair.

About the China Laizhou

China Laizhou – the stone city of China Laizhou is situated to the north of Daze Mountain of beautiful Jiaodong Peninsula, with 25,000- meter-long stone material gallery and with good reputation of China. It has over 400 years history to mine stone material, whose deposit can reach 3000 million m3 natural granite, marble. There are 300 enterprises of mine mining, 2000 processing enterprises of stone material. 0.5 million cubic meters stone materials can be mined per year ;30 million plate material can be processed each year; 0.15 million carvings of stone materials can be made every year. In 2007 it attracted not only more than 400 exhibitors from 26 countries and region to participate in but a quite lot of professional visitors from South Korea and Japan. During the exhibition, 82 contracts have been made successfully with 0.242 billion yuan. We believe laizhou 2008 will attract more than 500 exhibitors at home and abroad and foreign visitors taking advantage of her location where neighbors on Japan and South Korea.
